Whether it’s a meeting table, a coffee table, or a large boardroom table, it always makes sense to go with second hand when it comes to buying office tables. You might have the odd scuff mark, scratch, or other blemish to contend with, but other than that, there’s not much that can go wrong when it comes to such a simple item of furniture.

If you frequent modern office spaces, especially in a big city such as London, you will have noticed that over the last few years, meeting booths and acoustic pods have become the norm in reception and breakout spaces. These booths are ideal for privacy when working alone, or when involved in meetings, thanks to their often-high acoustic panelled walling and backrests, allowing for full concentration. Many of the more modern booths have in-built power modules and chargers for laptops/phones/etc, meaning you can really knuckle down and get in the zone, free from the general distractions of the more open office space areas.

As is the case with most modern furniture though, meeting booths and acoustic pods can be extremely expensive, especially when new. New meeting booths, especially the larger ones, can set you back by up to 10K, whereas a perfectly functional second hand meeting booth of an equal size, in good condition, can cost as little as a fifth of this.
